  28. Oh I see. Although, someone else has told me that they hear the same
  29. clicking sound after 3 minutes as well. It looks like this is normal 
  30. behaviour for the drive. You say that the motor is being turned off, but
  31. doesnt this occur when the drive goes into powersave mode after 15 minutes?

  33. : You have to watch when you are formatting other SCSI drives or copying from one
  34. : partition to another on another SCSI. You will find that the Zip locks the 
  35. : system up now and then. To get over that, use a cron to dir any dir on the zip
  36. : redirecting output >NIL: and it shouldnt happen.
  37. Got you. Thanks, I`ll have to look out for this as I am cosidering adding
  38. a 2 gig SCSI drive to my system in the near future..
